Alternative Sunday Sermon + Sunday Session
Sunday 14 September – Pay What You Feel
Start your Sunday with something a little different at Wainsgate. At 11am, the brilliant Tim Etchells (Forced Entertainment) teams up with acclaimed composer Jack Sheen to deliver our second Alternative Sunday Sermon – expect words, ideas, and sound that bend and twist the traditions of the sermon into new shapes.
At 12pm, head upstairs to the Sunday School for a Sunday Session with the both brilliant dance artists Maya Carroll and Soul Roberts, in collaboration with Charlie Morrissey and Siobhan Davies. They’ll share a series of scores exploring the ways movement changes how we think and see.
And of course, it wouldn’t be Wainsgate without homemade cake and tea served in vintage china.
A special double-bill of words, music, dance, and community.
