Club has finished
April at Hebden Bridge WI will see us learn about and try the fascinating art of T’ai Chi.
So what is T'ai Chi? Well, the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain tells us that "Tai Chi, also called Tai Chi Chuan (Tai Ji Quan), is a martial art and fitness regime using the principles of Yin and Yang to develop a healthy body and tranquil mind. It is a highly effective form of self-defence which is now more often taught with an emphasis on the hand forms which combine deep breathing and relaxation with co-ordinated, flowing movements."
We're lucky enough to have Cherril Collins leading our session. Cherril is an ‘A’ grade instructor with 20 years experience of teaching and 40 years of practice!
