A compelling documentary chronicling the transformative journey of a small group of women prisoners over six months, who discover the healing power of music. As their creative process unfolds, we see that despite profound struggles with trauma, addiction, and the complexities of prison life, music nurtures hope and healing. Led by indigenous songwoman Nancy Bates, their journey culminates in a historic performance with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra – the largest concert ever staged within an Australian prison with an audience of over 200 inmates and invited guests.
