As the days shorten and temperatures drop, many of us notice a change in our energy, motivation and mood.
The healthy habits that feel easy in summer can become harder to maintain through the winter months. We may spend less time outdoors, move less, see fewer people, and it can be easy to reach for comfort rather than nourishment.
Power of the Plate: Being Well for Winter is an opportunity to pause, reconnect with yourself, and discover simple ways to support your wellbeing through the colder season.
Join us for a welcoming and inspiring afternoon of nourishing food, hands-on learning, and meaningful conversation.
What We'll Explore
Together we'll examine:
- The relationship between food, mood and energy
- How seasonal changes can influence our physical and emotional wellbeing
- Simple, realistic ways to care for ourselves during winter
- Where to focus our energy for the greatest impact using a guided Wheel of Wellness exercise
This is not about perfection, strict rules or drastic lifestyle changes.
It's about understanding what helps us feel well and identifying small, achievable steps that can make a meaningful difference.
A Delicious and Nutritious Seasonal Lunch
The event includes a delicious and nutritious lunch prepared by Antonia's Supper Club, showcasing nourishing seasonal food designed to support wellbeing and spark inspiration for your own kitchen.
Special Guest: Kerri Daly
We're delighted to welcome Kerri Daly of Hands on Hebden Herbs, who will introduce us to the benefits of herbs and spices traditionally used during the winter months.
Together we'll explore familiar kitchen cupboard ingredients and create a warming winter spice infusion to enjoy and recreate.
