Using her own technique of combining chicken-wire, brown tape, wool, natural fabrics and found materials, Jo will show participants how to make lightweight, flexible masks. Mask makers will be using glue guns, sewing, felting, hand tools and other techniques. Put together a mask that you can use in your own performance or just for fun.
Jo has thirty years of experience making head dresses and masks. Her creative journey began in Brighton, where she spent ten years making headdresses for the legendary Vavavavoom Burlesque club and Theatre of Fur.
Many of the workshop materials have been provided by Yorkshire Wool companies :-)
