LGBTQ+ Walking Group: Heptonstall via Jack Bridge (with Picnic)

🚨 MARCH WALK AND SOCIAL (PICNIC) 🚨

What better way to celebrate British Summer Time beginning!...

Come and join us for our next walk. This month we're doing the route we proposed last month but had to change last minute due to the weather.

🗺️ Route: Heptonstall via Jack Bridge
⛰️ Distance: Approx 8.5k, gradual incline
📅 Date: Sunday 29th March
⏰ Time: Meet for 10:15am - approx 3.5 hours inc breaks
📍 Starting point: New Road, Memorial Gardens, Hebden Bridge

Meeting at Memorial Gardens, Hebden Bridge for 10:15am we'll set off along the canal and head to Jack Bridge down Colden Road. We'll head up through the woods to Heptonstall where we'll stop for approx 30-40 minutes for a Picnic (weather dependant), before heading down the buttress back into Hebden Town Centre.

Please bring refreshments, snacks and a picnic blanket if you have one. We'll be using the field next to Heptonstall Social & Bowling club. Hot drinks and snacks can also be purchased from Towngate Tearooms and brought to the picnic.

Please be advised, the stop and picnic at Heptonstall is about 2/3 into the route. We'll stop for a short 5/10 minute mid-point break at Jack Bridge itself.
