Quack, Quack - Don't miss the Hebden Bridge Duck Race - Easter Monday 6 April 26 

The Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge duck ticket stall will be back in St George’s Square, Hebden Bridge each day until Race Day - (Wavy steps on Good Friday!)  Tickets also available online at: www.hebdenbridgeduckrace.uk. 

As usual there will be 2 races - the Business Duck Race at 3pm where larger red, green, yellow and blue ducks on sale at £10 each race for prizes totalling £800 and the main race at 3.15pm, when the little yellow ducks costing £1 each, race each other down Hebden Water for the chance to win a £500 holiday voucher and cash prizes totalling £650!  

Our rotary stall of course won’t be the only stall in Hebden Bridge on Easter Monday! 

On St Pols car park on Bridge Gate, we’ve got our usual small funfair, with plenty of rides to keep the younger ones amused.

The normal Sunday Market will be in full swing, plus lots of additional charity and gift stalls and food and drink outlets (including Nightjar’s best brews). 

Performing from the island in the river will be 2 of the funniest people in the valley, keeping the crowds entertained throughout the afternoon! 

Rumour has it they’ve imported a giant rubber duck from Hong Kong and are currently working out what to do with it!  Watch this space! 

Lots to see, lots to do for all the family, plus of course the 2 duck races!

But the real purpose of the event is to raise money to help others.  All profits go to the Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge Trust Fund (registered charity number 513898) which gives grants to local, national and international good causes.

Since 2007 the Trust has awarded grants of over half a million Pounds.  With your support we can boost the Trust’s funds and help us on our way to one million Pounds.
