The show based on the lives of Brontë Sisters

Event added by Emmeleia Theatre

Drawing directly from Polly Teale’s acclaimed play ‘Brontës’

this physical theatre and polyphonic singing performance

blends classical text with dynamic movement and vocal

soundscapes. It explores the lives of the three Brontë sisters

as they grapple with their dreams, desires, and fears within

the confines—and freedoms—of their Haworth home. Through

their individual journeys, the show delves into themes of

womanhood, creativity, and sisterhood, asking: What is the

cost of following one’s dreams? What is the cost of choosing

not to?
