An afternoon of listening, looking, eating, talking, and hanging out, with Cappo’s work unfolding across the building.
From 3–6pm you can move at your own pace: arrive early, drift between spaces, take time with the installation, grab food, sit with a drink, and drop into the moments of focus as they happen.
From 3pm – CAPStone Trilogy (Exhibition / installation)
Assembly Room
CAPStone is Cappo’s exhibition/installation: a physical translation of the concepts, textures, and emotional charge of his music. The bar will be open, with hot food, drinks, and CAPStone records + merch via Plague record label. Come early, settle in, and take it in slowly.
4pm – In place of a sermon
“There’s a War Going on Inside, No Man is Safe From”
A talk Cappo first gave in Paris: part lecture, part lived experience. He shares how he uses rap, sound, and language to explore depression in a way that’s thoughtful, personal, and grounded.
5pm – Performance: S.T.A.R.V.E
Upstairs in the Sunday School
A powerful spoken-word / audio performance following a working-class man in Nottingham navigating mental health, heartbreak, and addiction. Raw, direct, and deeply human.
Hot food and drinks will be available, with a licensed bar open throughout.
We’ve had a tasting preview and took some pics – see above, it’s Slow-cooked chickpeas with kale and harissa + Warm rhubarb crumble with custard. Veggie + vegan, hearty and generous.
The exhibition stays open until 6pm, and you’re welcome to keep moving between spaces as the afternoon flows.
The event will take place on two floors of the building. The ground floor is accessible, but the First Floor is accessed via two stairs.
