Mills and Hills: Paintings by Brian Boocock

A selling exhibition of signed original paintings and limited-edition prints by local artist Brian Boocock (1941–2024).

Brian’s memorable paintings celebrate Hebden Bridge and the Calder Valley: dramatic hills, old mills, canals, town streets, familiar buildings and quieter corners of the landscape. A lifelong local artist and the creator of Hebden Bridge’s Millennial Clock, he painted the area with affection, insight and an exceptional eye for its industrial heritage.

Original paintings and limited-edition prints will be available to buy. Prints start at £80 unframed and make distinctive Christmas presents for anyone with a connection to the valley.

All proceeds support the Charity Trust Fund of the Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge, benefiting local community causes.
