The Friends of High Hirst Woodmeadow will be demonstrating the traditional countryside crafts of drystone walling and mowing using scythes.
Dod Pod Holiday Club will be providing FREE Forest School Craft Activities for the youngsters.

All activities are free. Due to limited places, both Walks* must be booked in advance. For the other events, just turn up!

We kindly ask that guests wear sturdy footwear and dress appropriately for the weather, as the events will take place outdoors.
Accessible toilets will be available at Dodnaze Community Centre from 9am-4pm.
The best way to get to us is to walk or use public transport. The 595 bus runs every hour (20mins past the hour), up from the railway station via Commercial Street. It's a five minute journey and drops you off right next to the Community Centre. Download a pdf timetable here.
For guests with limited mobility, limited parking is available on Manor Drive, Dodnaze.
We ask visitors to please not park on Sandy Gate as it restricts access for residents and through traffic.
