Introduction to Yoga for Runners Workshop

Event added by Rachel Pilling

This 2-hour beginner-friendly workshop is designed especially for runners who are interested in doing yoga to support their running. It’s perfect if you haven’t done yoga before and aren’t sure where to begin or worry that lack of flexibility is a barrier. It’s also great for anyone wanting to utilise yoga to supplement their training, whether this is to improve form, reduce injury risk or to get stronger, faster or more mobile.

This workshop is led by Rachel Pilling – a competitive fell runner and qualified yoga teacher with specialist training in yoga for athletes. Rachel has used yoga as an integral part of her training for over a decade and has a practical understanding of what a runner’s body needs and how to get the maximum benefit from a regular yoga practice.
