Open Studios weekend is a wonderful opportunity to visit over 108 artists and makers, working in many different media at their studios, homes and in shared venues across Hebden Bridge, Mytholmroyd, Heptonstall, Old Town and Cragg Vale.

From enthusiastic amateurs to internationally exhibited, professional artists at the top of your game, visit them all in their studios or at one of our three art and craft fairs.

Hebden Bridge Open Studios is a not for profit organisation run by artists for artists to make sure art and creativity remain a cornerstone of our community.

By opening the doors to let people in to our creative spaces we open up the possibility of art, culture and beauty enriching everybody’s lives. The spirit of community is incredibly strong here; events like Open Studios weave the fabric of those bonds together.

Good to know

You can obtain a 64 page A6 brochure which gives details of each artist exhibiting and where to find them, whether the venue is accessible, and if there are any variations to the standard opening times. Visit Heart Gallery, Gina B Glass, Kate Rhodes and Co and Spirals to collect a brochure, where we are asking for a donation of £1 to cover the brochure production cost (cash or online payment). Event information is also available on our website and there are leaflets available in many local shops which give a map and index of artists.
