Twenty years ago, we followed Heather Donahue, Joshua Leonard and Michael Williams as they ventured into Maryland’s Black Hills Forest to track down “The Blair Witch” only to never return. Without the internet to help us, we did wonder – are they really gone? One of Broadway’s all-time most popular films, THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT was an international box-office hit, terrifying an entire generation and marking the launch of the found footage genre.
