Daisy Bank Community Tree Nursery Friday Volunteer Day

Join us for our weekly tree nursery volunteer day at our Daisy Bank community tree nursery in Mytholmroyd. Sharing skills and time outside growing trees from seed, with ongoing maintenance, mulching, weeding, potting up and lifting our field grown trees in preparation for tree planting on sites around Calderdale and beyond.

Take part to help nourish your physical and mental wellbeing by doing something positive and spending time outdoors doing a variety of different tasks throughout the year.

Meeting from 10am onwards and finishing around 5pm with flexibility on when you come and go.

We collect seeds locally which we process, germinate and grow at our community tree nursery to use for hedge and tree planting projects to help reduce flooding as part of local natural flood management schemes, tree and hedgerow planting projects to create wildlife habitats and improve biodiversity.
