The Decade Parade

For years our community has been asking us for a parade, and at long last, to celebrate our 10th anniversary - and YOU, here it is!

Working alongside Parade superstars Handmade Productions we are thrilled to present the first ever Happy Valley Pride Parade - placards, puppets, positivity and pride.

The parade is totally free to attend and open to everyone of all ages. It’s an opportunity to be part of, to celebrate and support the amazing LGBTQIA+ community in our valley. Our first ever parade is open to all members of the community but you must register in advance to walk in the parade so that we can keep everyone safe.

Meet at the car park in front of Beau Bijou on Valley Road, opposite Valley Medical Centre, at 10:30am for an 11am start. The parade will then make its way past the Town Hall, through the square, up Bridge Gate, along Holme Street and into Calder Holmes Park for the beginning of The Big Day Out!

Please note that the parade is open to individuals only, organisations and groups are unable to register and take part.
