This is an opportunity to revisit the ways we first learned to move ourselves in space, pushing into the floor to 1st rock and then roll. These lessons will help reinvigorate our relationship with the floor and gravity helping to give secure roots from which we can navigate the space around us. You will explore weight shift and transitions from back to side, from side to belly & from lying to sitting. Here is an opportunity to refine the quality in how we move and find greater ease in these important transitions, especially as we age. These lessons are calming and soothing for your whole system as well as helping to improve your flexibility and overall balance.
The workshops can be attended as stand alone or a 2 workshop series.
You need to wear comfortable warm clothes that you can move in, no tight belts or jeans or skirts.
There are mats and cushions at the centre but bring what you need to be comfortable
