INSTIGATE : EXCHANGE celebrates ten years of artistic collaboration between Ebony Andrews and Ian C. Taylor, returning to Waterstreet Gallery with a thought-provoking exhibition of works shaped by chance, conversation and shared creativity.
Every piece begins with a found object, passed back and forth between the two artists through a series of additions, alterations and unexpected interventions. The result is a collection of unique, hybrid works where authorship is shared, control is relinquished, and the creative process is as important as the finished artwork. Some 'succeed', some 'fail'...
From quirky curiosities and thrift-store finds to playful nods to high art, INSTIGATE : EXCHANGE invites visitors to explore ideas of value, intention and collaboration in surprising and often humorous ways.
Everyone is welcome to the preview on 26th July 2 - 5pm, drinks and nibbles provided. Come and say hi!
