iglu book club

Join us at our monthly sauna book club, a one and a half hour session facilitated by Rozie Kelly, former sauna host at iglu and author of Kingfisher, which we are delighted to share has been shortlisted for the Women's Prize 2026.

It's like a normal book club, but in the sauna! You're invited to chat about the chosen book of the month, relax, and of course, get your hot and cold therapy in. At the end of the session, you’re welcome to chill in the seating area for further discussion, a relaxing hot drink and cake or a cookie.

If you want to come but don't have time to finish the book, don't worry. Whether you are an avid reader or just love a good chat, this is a welcoming space for all.

How to book

You can book your place for the next three sessions in one by clicking on the programmes tab on the booking page. This adds a slight discount from booking the sessions individually.

We hope you can sign up for all three, but if not, there’s also an option to book individually too. Just find the specific date you wish to book and choose the book club session on the calendar.

Once you have signed up, either pick the books up at the library or purchase them via World of Books.
