Prompt start at 1pm (no ads or trailers)

Rebellious 16-year-old mermaid Ariel is fascinated with life on land. On one of her visits to the surface, which are forbidden by her controlling father, King Triton, she falls for a human prince. Determined to be with her new love, Ariel makes a dangerous deal with the sea witch Ursula to become human for three days. But when plans go awry for the star-crossed lovers, the king must make the ultimate sacrifice for his daughter.

Our FREE Dementia-Friendly Screenings, funded by Hebden Royd Town Council, take place on the third Monday of every month.

These relaxed, community-led screenings are open to all, with a special focus on people living with dementia, their families and carers. With no adverts or trailers, low lighting, adjusted sound, and freedom to talk, sing or move around, we aim to create a warm and welcoming cinema experience.

Free tea, coffee and biscuits are served for half an hour before the film to give guests time to meet, socialise and settle in.
