A dynamic dance class focusing on the fundamentals of contemporary dance building towards fresh physical sequences moving in and out of the floor, travelling and discovering the explosive physicality through fun phrases and challenging choreography.

About Helen Wilman School of Dance
We are a Yorkshire based Dance School in Hebden Bridge. The school is run by Helen, a fully qualified teacher who is trained in the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus with over 37 years of experience.
Starting her passion for dance she went to classes at Dorothy Stevens based in Hipperholme and Calderdale school of physical education (now formally known as Dance 4 All). Following this Helen studied down in London at Stella Mann gaining a diploma in Teaching dance.
On her return to the north she gained her RAD qualification with Dorothy Stevens and taught at Calderdale school of physical education.
Opening her own school here in Hebden Bridge in 1986.
