Bokeh Yeah! comes to Hebden Bridge, Join The Making Mill's new Director Adele Myers in the first series of video skills workshops.

Bokeh Yeah! is a local, independent filmmaking academy offering training, production support, film challenges and screening events. Founded in 2011 by The Making Mill’s new director, Adele Myers, Bokeh Yeah! originally ran in Manchester until 2015. Since then, Adele has delivered filmmaking workshops internationally in Zimbabwe, China and the United Arab Emirates.

*The term bokeh itself is a photographic and video term describing the aesthetic quality of the soft, out-of-focus blur in the background of an image.

What's in the course:

This filmaking course will cover a range of skills and techniques aimes to teach the full spectrum overview of the filmmaking process

This is an 8-Session weekly Filmmaking Course, with each session lasting 2 Hours. You can purchase the whole course or book individual sessions. There are also discounted rates for Young people of 18 - 24 years. (Please see the website for more details).

Good to know

The Making Mill is centrally located in Hebden Bridge and is a 7 minute walk from the bus stop at New Road or Market Street / Commercial Street and 15 minute walk from Hebden Bridge Train Station.

If you are driving then there maybe limited free parking spots available for evening and weekend sessions only, located down the alley between Star Garage and The Making Mill, or plently of paid parking with Meters on the surronding streets. There are also car parks close by.

Please note: The Making Mill is located on the first floor and is currently not wheelchair accessible. The workshop room can only be accessed via stairs, so please bear this in mind if you have specific mobility requirements.
