Apple Day - A Community Celebration

To celebrate the abundance of apples, Pennine Cropshare is joining Grow and Graze, Calderdale Ecological Land Trust, Valley Organics, and Community Orchard Services for an Apple Day.  The event will take place on Sunday 19th October at the Grow and Graze Market Garden site on Wadsworth Lane in Hebden Bridge.  From Hebden Bridge, head up Birchcliffe Road, which leads onto Wadsworth Lane, and look out on the left for the 3-acre market garden plot.

Community Orchard Services will be at the event pressing and juicing apples.  You can bring your own apples, or buy apples from local growers and Pennine Cropshare.  Bring your own containers and take your freshly pressed juice away.
