Felting Workshop in Todmordon, West Yorkshire at the Creative with Nature studio gallery.

In this workshop you will have the opportunity to learn a range of textiles skills and experiment with wet felting, needle felting and free motion machine embroidery. You will create a beautiful piece of felted artwork, often described as water colours in wool.

You will be working with high quality Merino wool fibres which are beautiful dyed in a range of colours.

A flat piece of felt will be made by layering wool fibers and using the simple process of wet felting to manipulate and matt the fibres together using soapy water and a bit of elbow grease!

In the afternoon you can add extra detail, colour and texture to you work by needle felting spun or roving wool to your felt. You will have the opportunity to experiment with free motion machine embroidery which can be used to add further designs and detail.

Morning pastries will be served when you arrive with cups of tea or real coffee. A lovely lunch with wine if you wish, is included with cake served in the afternoon.

All materials, refreshments and lunch are included.
Cost £70, £60 concessions available.

Maximum of 8 participants.
