Sat 1st Sep 1.30pm
Sun 2nd Sep 1.30pm
Dir: Benjamin Renner, Patrick Imber | France/Belgium | 2017 | 83 mins
With English Voice Cast: Bill Bailey, Adrian Edmondson, Matthew Goode

From the creators of the Academy Award-nominated Ernest & Celestine comes another hilarious, heartwarming tale of animal misfits destined to become a classic. The countryside isn’t always as calm and peaceful as you’d think; and the animals on this farm are particularly agitated: a fox who mothers a family of chicks, a rabbit who plays the stork, and a duck who wants to be Santa Claus. Directors Benjamin Renner and Patrick Imbert adapt Renner’s own acclaimed graphic novel into a delirious, delightful triptych of stories, with a pacing and visual spontaneity that harkens back to classic Looney Tunes shorts.

All times listed are the programme start time unless otherwise stated. Films start approx 30 mins after the programme start time.

BAFTA Award-winning actress Vanessa Kirby (The Crown) and Eric Kofi Abrefa (The Amen Corner) feature in the cast of this brand new production, directed by Carrie Cracknell (NT Live: The Deep Blue Sea).

Wild and newly single, Julie throws a late night party. In the kitchen, Jean and Kristina clean up as the celebration heaves above them. Crossing the threshold, Julie initiates a power game with Jean – which rapidly descends into a savage fight for survival.

This new version of August Strindberg’s play Miss Julie, written by Polly Stenham, remains shocking and fiercely relevant in its new setting of contemporary London.

Hebden Bridge Picture House is proud to present a Royal Shakespeare Company performance (live from Stratford upon Avon) of The Merry Wives of Windsor.

Down on his luck in the suburbs, John Falstaff plans to hustle his way to a comfortable retirement by seducing the wives of two wealthy men.
Unknown to him, it’s the women of Windsor who really pull the strings, orchestrating Falstaff’s comeuppance amidst a theatrical smorgasbord of petty rivalries, jealousies and over-inflated egos.

Doors open at 6pm, and the screening commences at 7pm. The performance length has yet to be confirmed.

Tickets available online in advance (see ticket link) or on the door for cash from 6pm on the day:
£15 adults,
£13 Over 60s and Passport to Leisure Card holders,
£11 Under 26s and FT Students.
